Nyah Bush Camping Area
Nyah Bush camp spot is a free camping site in the Murrumbidgee Junction and Nyah State Forest Region. It is located on the banks of the Murray River and is one of the four reserves between Robinvale and Swan Hill offering dispersed bush camping. It is on the Victorian side of the border, next to the town of Nyah. Access to Nyah Bush campsite is signposted off the Murray Valley HWY. Please check exact GPS location with Parks Victoria.
Campers are permitted to bring dogs to this camping area. The campground is suitable for tents, camper trailers and caravans. Campers must be self-sufficient and carry water and a gas stove. All Murray River Reserve camping spots are suited to people who enjoy the being by the river but also nearby to a township. Tracks are 4WD suitable all year-round, 2WD’s are only suitable in dry weather. River can be prone to flooding so be sure to check the forecast and water levels before pitching a tent in this camping area.
