Wye River Road Camping

Camping Wye River Road campground Lorne Victoria, Great Ocean Road free camping Great Otway National Park basic bush camping, peaceful setting close to the popular seaside town of Lorne Victoria. There are 3 camping areas at Wye River, which are app. 4kms from the township of Wye River. There are no charges to camp at Wye River camping area, and no bookings can be made – campers secure a campsite on a first-come, first-served basis. All campsites are non-powered, and there are no facilities at Wye River campground. The three camping areas have a total of 11 campsites available, with each accommodation a maximum of 6 persons per campsites. The 5 campsites at campsite 1 are suitable for tents, caravans or camper-trailers. The 3 campsites at campground 2 are suitable for tents only and the further 2 campsites can accommodate tents, caravans or camper-trailers. There is 1 campsite at campground 3 which suits tent only camping. There are no fireplaces; fires are not allowed in any campgrounds at Wye River camping area. Campers are recommended to bring fuel stoves, such as a gas barbeque. There is no drinking water at any of the 3 different Wye River campgrounds.
